1.  In most cases it's bad business to speculate on what a dead author might think of the post-mortem reaction to his work.

6.  The big problem I have with these books is that the authors think their personal experience has anything to teach society at large.

8.  The reason: a sentence in the law that its author thinks is being misinterpreted by prison officials.

9.  To some, perhaps, the title might seem a come-on, but the author thinks of it as an apt entry into the world of the drama itself.

10.  Ultimately, though, the mystery of a mystery ought to be in the story, not in why the author thought the story was believable.
